My husband colleague has previously engaged The Mind Design so she recommended Sam to us based on her good experience working with him. Indeed, Sam was amazing and my husband and I actually went back to him again for our second renovation when we shifted to another place. Sam is a brilliant designer; he would listen to us and shared with us his ideas. The piping in my master bedroom’s bathroom looked quite unpleasant so I actually voiced it out to Sam. It was more of just a comment but Sam really took all our feedback into consideration and would try to improvise on them. We were really impressed by how he took an initiative to conceal the piping, making it look much better after that. For any defects, he would not delay nor pull a long face to get them fixed. His working relationship with his carpenters are fantastic and all the parties involved in the renovation were very reliable. Some designers tend to make empty promises but Sam is not the kind who would simply paint a beautiful picture for the homeowners from the start. He is realistic about the timeline and expectations and would explain to us reasons why he thinks some of the things might not work for our home. We fully recommend The Mind Design to anyone who is looking for interior designers!
